The infertility
Infertility is the inability of a person to conceive a child after repeated unprotected sexual intercourse. Infertility can be due to a variety of causes, including hormonal problems, genetic abnormalities, diseases, STDs, infections and environmental factors.
Risk factors for infertility include age, smoking, excessive alcohol consumption, obesity and exposure to toxic substances.
Abdominal and infertility belt
There is currently no solid scientific evidence directly linking ab belt use to infertility. Studies on electromuscular stimulation and fertility are rare, and those that do exist have primarily focused on the effects of EMS on muscles and physical performance.
A study conducted in 2020 by Mortimer et al. examined the effects of EMS on male fertility using rats as models. The researchers found that EMS exposure had no negative effects on the fertility of male rats. Although this study used animals as models, the results suggest that EMS is not harmful to fertility.
Myth or reality ?
It's important to note that rumors about abdominal girdles and infertility are mostly based on anecdotes and myths. Available scientific research does not support the idea that ab belt use causes infertility. Individuals considering using an ab belt should consult their physician to discuss their concerns and determine if an ems ab belt is recommended for them.
